W&M GALA TURNS OUT FOR 3RD ANNUAL EV DINNER

On Saturday, April 8, 2006, members of the William and Mary Community, as usual, turned out in numbers for THE GLBT Virginia statewide social and political event of the year at the 3rd Annual Commonwealth Dinner sponsored by and for the benefit of Equality Virginia. Over 1,300 guests turned out in their finest to hear former Virginia Governor and U.S. Senator Charles Robb electrify the audience with his keynote address in which he vigorously denounced discrimination against GLBT people and declared his intention to vote NO on the constitutional amendment before Virginia voters in the Fall of 2006.
